Case Studies

When you choose to make a donation to one of HRF's projects or appeals, you can do so in the safe knowledge that the money that you pledge will be used to help many people in need across the globe.

Examples of where your money will be used are:

1. To bring clean drinking water to a village in desperate need, preventing the risk of infection and the need to walks miles and miles every day just for a basic human right.

2. To help give a family a home again after the destruction of war has left them without shelter.

3. To provide the elderly with the care and attention that they deserve. With your help, we can help get them the medication and treatment that they need.

4. To help families less fortunate than ourselves still enjoy the religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadhan

HRF have managed to help thousands of people world wide, and could not have done it without the help and support of it's donors and volunteers, so thank you. Here are some 'success stories'.

1. Last year HRF distributed 175000 Kilograms of meat to the poor and needy families throughout the world which means that approximately 1200 families benefited and enjoyed the blessings of Eid

2. Our volunteers keep on running! One of them, Mr Ali, ran the London and Edinburgh Marathons. He raised over £5,000 for the orphans in Iraq and Kashmir.

3. Over the last 3 years we've spent over £1 million in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir. We're continuing to support communities in this area, and we're in it for the long term.

School Kits in Iraq

The innocent people of Iraq have been suffering for more than 3 decades from the adverse effects of wars, sanctions and occupation. The situation is now so bad on all levels, social, health, economic, safety and security, as well as the education.

Furthermore, high unemployment, devaluation of the currency, high cost of living, the sharp increase in the price of the essential commodities, deterioration in the public services provided to the citizens, all these have aggravated the situation and added to the problems facing the people there.

Human Relief Foundation has been providing various help and support to the people of Iraq. As well as running valuable Orphan Sponsorship and student sponsorship programmes, HRF is also supporting the poor families by providing their children with school kits in order to encourage them to continue with their education.

THE SCHOOL KIT's comprise of:

- School Bag (Rucksack),
- Note Books,
- Pencils,
- Pens,
- Sharpener,
- Rubber,
- Ruler

No. of Kits required: 10,000 at £10each
