Case Studies

When you choose to make a donation to one of HRF's projects or appeals, you can do so in the safe knowledge that the money that you pledge will be used to help many people in need across the globe.

Examples of where your money will be used are:

1. To bring clean drinking water to a village in desperate need, preventing the risk of infection and the need to walks miles and miles every day just for a basic human right.

2. To help give a family a home again after the destruction of war has left them without shelter.

3. To provide the elderly with the care and attention that they deserve. With your help, we can help get them the medication and treatment that they need.

4. To help families less fortunate than ourselves still enjoy the religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadhan

HRF have managed to help thousands of people world wide, and could not have done it without the help and support of it's donors and volunteers, so thank you. Here are some 'success stories'.

1. Last year HRF distributed 175000 Kilograms of meat to the poor and needy families throughout the world which means that approximately 1200 families benefited and enjoyed the blessings of Eid

2. Our volunteers keep on running! One of them, Mr Ali, ran the London and Edinburgh Marathons. He raised over £5,000 for the orphans in Iraq and Kashmir.

3. Over the last 3 years we've spent over £1 million in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir. We're continuing to support communities in this area, and we're in it for the long term.

Gaza Appeal

The people of Gaza continue to suffer terribly. Over a million people have limited access to clean hygienic water, and thousands more are waiting for urgent help.

As a result of the Palestinian conflicts, the economic, social and health conditions deteriorated to an unprecedented and alarming level. Today, the situation still continues to deteriorate as the level of healthcare is described as dangerous and the catastrophic events have had a negative impact upon the different health services and programmes including hospital service, vaccination, epidemics control, mental health and nutrition.

The desperate situation of the people of Palestine has encouraged people to come forward and help, however, more help and support is still very much required on a wider scale.

Over the last few years, HRF has been helping the Palestine people by delivering emergency aid supplies including medicines, clothing and shelter.

HRF is appealing to the local, national and international donors to come forward and help the Palestinians who endure terrible misery and pain.
