When you choose to make a donation to one of HRF's projects or appeals, you can do so in the safe knowledge that the money that you pledge will be used to help many people in need across the globe.
Examples of where your money will be used are:
1. To bring clean drinking water to a village in desperate need, preventing the risk of infection and the need to walks miles and miles every day just for a basic human right.
2. To help give a family a home again after the destruction of war has left them without shelter.
3. To provide the elderly with the care and attention that they deserve. With your help, we can help get them the medication and treatment that they need.
4. To help families less fortunate than ourselves still enjoy the religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadhan
HRF have managed to help thousands of people world wide, and could not have done it without the help and support of it's donors and volunteers, so thank you. Here are some 'success stories'.
1. Last year HRF distributed 175000 Kilograms of meat to the poor and needy families throughout the world which means that approximately 1200 families benefited and enjoyed the blessings of Eid
2. Our volunteers keep on running! One of them, Mr Ali, ran the London and Edinburgh Marathons. He raised over £5,000 for the orphans in Iraq and Kashmir.
3. Over the last 3 years we've spent over £1 million in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir. We're continuing to support communities in this area, and we're in it for the long term.
Please donate today, and help us create more sucess stories.

Gujrat Water Appeal
The village of Mehsam has a population of over 3,000 residents with many being children; who DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER.
The majority of households are using wells that are drilled to a depth of 50-60 feet with classic hand-pumps. The water retrieved is neither pure nor hygienically suitable for drinking as per WHO (World Health Organisation) standards.
Upon a detailed survey of the village it was identified that more than 65% of residents are suffering from Hepatitis, Diarrhea and other Abdominal Diseases due to the non-availability of clean pure water.
HRF is responding by installing a clean-water motorised system which will briefly consist of drilling approximately 350 feet deep for mineral-water like quality. The clean water will be collected in a tank and stored and distributed via taps. The cost of the plant will be £10,000 which will include servicing and maintenance.
The local community will take part in the installation and maintenance of the plant. The high rate of poverty is the major factor for the residents of this village and therefore HRF kindly requests you, the donor to help contribute towards this PURE WATER PLANT to be installed in the village so that ALL the residents have access to clean water all the time.
